Hi Vítor,

This is your uncle Tadeu. I wrote this letter just to welcome you and to write some fun words about this wonderful family that you are about to meet. You should not worry about your parents, they are both strong people, who will do anything to keep you safe from the bad things that life can possibly get in your way. Let me tell you something, your mother is the sweetest person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and your father is one of the smartest people I know.

Remember that you will always be like a son to me, just as my sister considers me to be her son, and without a doubt you will be loved by all of us. In this family you will never feel alone and, even if that happens, a certain gentleman (who is also my great idol and teacher: your grandfather), named Hamilton, taught me something that I will always take with me: "Be patient!" Everything will be fine if you have patience and desire. Everything can be achieved!

By the way, your grandmother is amazing! It may take you some time to understand this, but she is the most loving person you can ever meet.
